Manuel Dominguez Alvarez

Manuel Dominguez Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple roles and companies. Manuel started their career as a Radiation Effects Engineer at Tecnologica Componentes Electrónicos, where they worked on the design and development of electronic components for space programs. Manuel then moved on to become a Project Manager, overseeing programs like Rosetta and METEOSAT, and Herschel/Planck. Later, they served as the Head of Continuous Improvement, where they focused on improving internal processes and reducing costs. Manuel also worked as a Lab Director at ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD, responsible for managing subcontracts and analyzing test results. Currently, Manuel holds the position of Chief Digital Officer at ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD, where they are in charge of the company's digital strategy and transforming it into a fully digital organization. Manuel is also responsible for enhancing the overall customer experience and improving operational efficiency. In addition to their roles in technology and management, Manuel briefly served as the Engineering Manager at Datia.

Manuel Dominguez Alvarez holds an Executive MBA degree in Digital Transformation from IEBS, which they completed from 2019 to 2020. In 2017 and 2018, they attended ESMT Berlin and completed the ESMT Management School Program. In 1993 and 1994, Manuel earned a Master's degree in Web Application Development from INATED. Manuel also pursued a PhD in Studies of nuclei out of the stability valley at Universidad de Sevilla from 1995 to 1998, although their studies remain unfinished. Manuel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fundamental Physics from Universidad de Sevilla in 1993 and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 1991 to 1995.
