Ian Kuon

Ian Kuon is an experienced manager and director of software engineering, currently leading teams at Altera in the development of EDA software to model FPGAs. Previously, they held positions at Intel Corporation, where they managed software teams and led the development of innovative software products for FPGA performance modeling. Ian also worked at Altera and various other companies in roles including IC design engineering, ASIC design engineering, and product engineering. They earned a PhD and a MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
