Ming H Ding

Ming H Ding has extensive experience in the field of FPGA technology, beginning as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies/Agere Systems from January 1998 to October 2002, where expertise in FPGA platform architecture was developed and key projects such as the ORCA Series architectures were led. Following this, Ming held the position of Principal Engineer at DAFCA Inc from November 2003 to April 2005, before progressing to multiple roles at Lattice Semiconductor from May 2015 to February 2019, including Sr. Director of Software Framework and Interim Co-R&D Head for Architecture, Software & Soft-IP Development. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Engineering at Altera since February 2019, Ming leads a global team of over 100 engineers. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
