Henning Fotland

Henning Fotland is the Directeur Général at Altera Infrastructure since February 2024, bringing extensive experience in business development and operations from previous roles. Prior to this, Fotland served as Head of Business Development, Logistics at DS NORDEN from April 2019 to February 2024, where responsibilities included sourcing and finalizing new infrastructure and logistics projects globally, as well as establishing NORDEN's first office in West Africa and building a robust local team across 19 countries. Earlier experience includes General Manager at Western Bulk Chartering AS from October 2008 to April 2019, where Fotland focused on chartering and business development on the Atlantic Coast of Africa, along with roles as Chartering Manager and Operations Manager. Fotland began a career at Maersk Line as a MISE Trainee from July 2006 to September 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Political Science from Dalhousie University.
