Magnar Helgesen

Magnar Helgesen has extensive experience in the maritime industry, having served as Offshore Installation Manager at Altera Infrastructure since August 2000, where responsibility includes oversight of safety and work-related activities onboard vessels during production, moves, and anchoring, as well as managing all surface and subsea activities within a 500 m safety zone. Prior to this role, Magnar held positions as Captain and Chief Officer at Knutsen OAS Shipping AS from December 1992 to August 2000. Magnar's educational background includes a Master's degree in Maritime Studies from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1990 and 1992.
