Neilson Chavez

Neilson Chavez currently serves as a Commissioning Engineer for the Equinor Rosebank Project-Knarr FPSO at Altera Infrastructure since May 2023. Prior to this role, Neilson held various commissioning engineering positions at Vår Energi, Equinor, and TEEKAY PETROJARL, with responsibilities primarily focused on mechanical and process engineering for several FPSO projects, including JOHAN CASTBERG and JOHAN SVERDRUP. Neilson's earlier experience includes roles with BW Offshore as a Senior Mechanical Commissioning/Operation Engineer and various positions in mechanical commissioning and inspection at companies such as Woodside Energy, SBM Offshore, and ConocoPhillips. Neilson earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the East between 1994 and 1999.
