Venkatesan Balakrishnan

Venkatesan Balakrishnan is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in materials coordination and storekeeping within the offshore and maritime sectors. Currently serving as a Logistics Coordinator and Onshore Storekeeper at Altera Infrastructure since July 2023, Venkatesan has held similar roles at SBM Offshore from December 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included organizing materials for the Fast4ward FPSO LIZA UNITY in Singapore and Guyana. Venkatesan's expertise also encompasses working as a Materials Logistics Coordinator at Modec International Inc. from August 2016 to February 2020, and various storekeeping positions at SBM Offshore between 2002 and 2016, managing materials for several FPSOs across multiple locations. Venkatesan holds a National Trade Certificate in Electrical Technician/Electrical Engineering Technologies from KVSIM Trust Industrial Training Institute, attended from June 1994 to 1996.
