Manus O'Donnell has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent position is as a Senior Vice President at Alterity Group, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Commercial Insurance Consultants, Inc as a Partner from January 2020 to August 2022 and as a Senior Consultant from August 2018 to January 2020.

From 2002 to 2018, O'Donnell held the role of Administrative Vice President-Director of Corporate Insurance & Risk at M&T Bank. During their tenure there, they demonstrated expertise in insurance and risk management.

In addition to their corporate roles, O'Donnell has also been involved in various leadership positions within professional organizations. Manus served as the Past Chair of the Agent and Broker Interest Group at the CPCU Society from April 2010 to February 2012. Manus also had a long-standing association with the CPCU Society, serving as a National Service member from 1982 to 2012 and as a Former Director from 2006 to 2009.

Furthermore, they played an active role in RIMS (Risk & Insurance Management Society), serving as the Past Chair/Member of the Standards & Practices Committee from January 2010 to January 2012. O'Donnell also served as a Delegate for the Risk & Insurance Management Society from December 2007 to December 2009.

O'Donnell's involvement in academia includes their role as a Member of the Business Council at Canisius College from 2009 to 2012 and as the Alumni Board Past President at Buffalo State College from July 2008 to July 2010.

Throughout their career, O'Donnell has held numerous leadership positions, contributing to the insurance and risk management industry. Manus holds multiple professional designations, including CPCU, ARM, AMIM, and MBA.

Manus O'Donnell, CPCU ARM AMIM MBA, holds a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Urban Planning from Buffalo State University. Manus also has certifications in CPCU, ARM, and AMIM from the American Institute for Property and Casualty Underwriters. Manus furthered their education by earning an MBA with a specialization in Finance from Canisius College. Additionally, they have obtained a certification of CPCU in Good Standing from The Institutes in December 2020.
