Robert Singh has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and energy industry. Robert started their career as an Engineer at Morrison Knudsen Engineers in 1986 and then moved on to become a Principal Engineer at National Grid / KeySpan from 1991 to 2000. Robert continued their role as a Principal Engineer at KeySpan until 2001 when they joined Progress Energy as a Director. In 2007, they became the President of WTEC, where they worked until 2009. Currently, they hold the position of President at Alternative Energy Development, Corp. (AED), which they have been serving since 2009.
Robert Singh completed their education with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1981 to 1985. Robert also holds an Advanced Level GCE from Indians Education Trust in the fields of Physics, Pure Math, and Applied Math, which they obtained from 1976 to 1977. Robert completed their GCE Ordinary Level from Central High School, University of London, between 1972 and 1976.
