Nizar Basma

Nizar Basma has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. In 2013, they started working as an Accounts Payable and Payroll Assistant at Specialty's Cafe & Bakery, where they were responsible for documenting hours and monitoring the payroll process for over fifty stores and one thousand employees. In 2015, Nizar joined Splunk as a Payroll Analyst, where they played a crucial role in payroll management and implemented various process improvements, such as reducing the processing time for gathering data from the Global Mobility team and automating payroll auditing. Nizar was later promoted to the role of Senior Payroll Analyst, where they continued to excel in stakeholder management, data analysis, and automation. In 2022, Nizar joined Intercom as a Senior Payroll Analyst before moving on to their current role as a Workday HRIS Analyst at TheKey in 2023.

Nizar Basma completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Finance, General from San Jose State University, from the year 2010 to 2013.
