Shavon Brown

Shavon Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Shavon began their career in 2007 at the South Arkansas Developmental Center, where they worked as an Accounting Assistant/Payroll. In this role, their responsibilities included payroll and accounts payable supervision, cash management, bank reconciliations, and filing reports. Shavon then took on the position of Quality Assurance, where they performed internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. In 2009, Shavon helped implement SolanaPro software for the accounting department. Shavon later served as the Accounting Manager, overseeing various tasks such as budget preparation, financial statement generation, and the approval of purchase orders.

In 2012, Shavon joined Murphy Oil as an Intermediate Accountant, and in 2013, they progressed to become an Accountant at Murphy USA. During their time at both companies, they demonstrated their expertise in accounting practices. In 2023, Shavon joined TheKey as a Senior Accountant, where they continue to excel in their role.

Shavon Brown obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Southern Arkansas University from 2003 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting at the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2009.
