Cheri Beavers

Cheri Beavers has extensive experience in vocational development and education, currently serving as a Job Developer at Alternative Opportunities, Inc. since June 2008, where the focus is on assisting clients in determining realistic vocational goals and facilitating job placements. Prior to this role, Cheri worked as a Vocational Evaluator, also at Alternative Opportunities, Inc., providing similar support to clients while making referrals for appropriate education or job placement. Between August 1997 and June 2008, Cheri taught students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade at the Mountain View-Birch Tree School District and contributed to the Professional Development and Career Ladder committees. Cheri holds a Master of Science in Education from Missouri State University, completed between 1996 and 1998, and an earlier degree from the same institution earned between 1986 and 1988.
