Bianca Herrera

Bianca Herrera is a skilled psychology professional with extensive experience in educational and counseling roles. Currently serving as a Psychology Assistant at Lynne Brouwer Associates, Bianca engages children in social/emotional skill-building activities and provides psychoeducation to parents. Additionally, as the College and Career Pathways Coordinator at INSTITUTO JUSTICE AND LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, Bianca develops postsecondary plans for students, teaches a curriculum on college readiness, and organizes relevant events. Previous experience includes coordinating a grant program at Alternative Schools Network, serving as a Case Management Specialist at Resilience, where Bianca developed case management processes and provided crisis counseling, and contributing to the Sadie Nash Leadership Project by facilitating workshops for parents. Bianca is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago.
