Community Engagement Coordinator at Alternatives For Girls

Brittany Alexander, MPA, is an experienced professional currently serving as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Ann Arbor since April 2024 and as a Community Engagement Coordinator for Alternatives For Girls since February 2022. Previously, Brittany held various roles including Field Organizer for Sara For City Council, Marketing & Community Outreach Specialist for ACCEL, and Field Representative for the Progressive Turnout Project. Additional experience includes positions as a Field Intern at Lucas County Democratic Headquarters and Mock Trial Attorney at The University of Toledo, where Brittany gained practical legal experience. Brittany also served as an Appointed Senator at The University of Toledo, focusing on legislation to enhance student wellness. Following a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Brittany pursued a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Urban and Regional Planning at The University of Toledo, graduating in May 2024.
