Sinita Williams has extensive experience in social work and counseling, currently serving as a Shelter/Transition to Independent Living Counselor at Alternatives For Girls since September 2012, following a role as a Resident Advisor from December 2011 to June 2012. At Alternatives For Girls, significant responsibilities include providing direct care and supervision to homeless adolescent girls, offering resource information, referrals, and advocacy, as well as assisting clients in developing problem-solving and decision-making skills. Prior to this, Sinita was a Student Employee at Saginaw Valley State University, providing administrative support to faculty and students from January 2008 to April 2011, and worked as a Camp Counselor at Skyline Camp and Retreat Center, facilitating activities for at-risk adolescents and individuals with special needs in summer 2009. Sinita holds a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, completed in 2012, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University, obtained in 2011.
