Cher Vang

Cher Vang is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and counseling, currently serving as a Care Coordinator at Alternatives in Psychological Consultation since September 2016. In this role, Cher develops and implements care plans for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Previously, Cher worked as a Faculty member at Milwaukee Area Technical College, teaching various psychology courses from February 2010 to September 2016, and held positions including Senior Associate at First Financial Security and Psychology Intern at Ethan Allen School within the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Additional experience includes serving as a Psychotherapist at Sebastian Family Psychology Practice and as a Counselor at Milwaukee Health Service Systems II. Cher holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as an MSED in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a BS in Industrial Electronics Technology from California State University Fresno.
