David Brown

David Brown, MPA, FSA, serves as the Financial Reporting Manager at Alterra Mountain Company since February 2020, with a rich background in financial reporting and accounting accumulated through various roles, including Senior Accountant and Sr. GL Accountant. Prior experience includes positions at Vail Resorts, where responsibilities ranged from Credit Card Accounting Analyst to Supervisor of the Revenue Audit Department. David has also held roles in instructional and leadership capacities in outdoor sports and education, as well as brand ambassador positions to promote products at events and retailers. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Vermont.
