Melanie Seator

Melanie Seator is an experienced professional in the ski and hospitality industries, currently serving as the Guest Relations Manager at Obsidian Residence Club since June 2023. Additionally, Melanie has held the role of Brand Ambassador at HEAD since November 2018, while also working as a Professional Ski Instructor and Trainer at Alterra Mountain Company, dedicated to fostering lifelong skiing and racing skills. As President of New Business Development for Raising a Racer and The Adventures of Blue Bear, Melanie is also an author. Melanie's extensive background includes positions as a Ski Instructor and Scheduler at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, various roles at Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, and management experience at Sierra Employment Services and Eivins Ski & Board. Melanie's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Film, TV & Marketing and German from The University of Waikato, along with certifications in Alpine Coaching and Professional Ski Instruction from US Ski and Snowboard and NZSIA.
