Sebastian Rohe

Sebastian Rohe is a Senior Policy Officer at Alterric since January 2023, focusing on energy transition, planning, and electricity market design for renewable energies. Previously, Sebastian worked as a Policy Officer and Lecturer at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, contributing to courses in social sciences and economics. A postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Social Sciences, Sebastian engaged in projects related to regional energy transitions and developing geoinformation systems for renewable energy site selection. With a solid foundation in consultancy, research, and communication, Sebastian has held various roles across organizations, including the World Future Council and DLR-Institute of Networked Energy Systems. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics and Social Sciences and a Master’s in Sustainability Economics and Management from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
