Daniel Marchand

Daniel Marchand is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in capital markets and alternative investments. Currently serving as a Partner at Altervest since October 2024, Daniel has previously held key leadership positions such as Managing Director of Capital Markets at Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital Ltd., and Managing Director of Capital Raising and Investor Relations at BentallGreenOak. With a history at Trez Capital as Senior Vice President, Head of Investor Global Sales, and at Nuveen Investments where AUM grew significantly, Daniel has consistently demonstrated expertise in business development and capital advisory. Additionally, Daniel's leadership roles include managing partner and CEO of The Canadian Renewable Energy Fund and president of Pfiffner Management Inc. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University and has completed the PDO and CSC courses at the Canadian Securities Institute.
