Mike Akey

Mike Akey is an experienced professional in product management and geospatial analysis, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager for Designer Desktop at Alteryx since March 2014. In this role, Mike drives the vision and strategy for Alteryx's flagship product and leads initiatives for the Hybrid product and go-to-market strategies. With a background that includes positions such as Sr. Program Manager for User Experience, Technical Product Manager, and Sr. Customer Support Engineer at Alteryx, Mike has a comprehensive understanding of product development, user experience, and customer support. Prior to Alteryx, Mike worked as a GIS Technician and Client Service Representative at CBRE, Inc., along with internships and volunteer positions that honed expertise in geospatial technologies. Mike holds a Master's degree in GIS and a Bachelor's degree in Geography: Urban Studies from Arizona State University.
