Digby R. Leigh

Digby R. Leigh has a diverse work experience spanning over 40 years in the legal field. Digby R. started their career at Bull, Housser & Tupper, where they began as an Articling Student and worked their way up to become an Associate and eventually a Partner. During their time at the firm, they received valuable guidance from experienced mentors. In 1992, Digby ventured out on their own and co-founded Hobbs & Leigh, a successful boutique insolvency and commercial litigation firm. As a Partner, they played a key role in growing the firm to 23 employees with multiple offices. In 2005, they joined Digby Leigh & Co., where they served as the Managing Partner, Lawyer, and Mentor. The firm offered a wide range of legal services and specialized in finding unique and innovative solutions for complex business needs. In 2020, Digby became a Co-Founder of AltFee, a project aimed at revolutionizing the legal industry by providing a SaaS product that enables law firms to move away from hourly billing to upfront agreed upon pricing. Through their extensive experience and entrepreneurial ventures, Digby has demonstrated a passion for finding solutions and driving positive change in the legal sector.

Digby R. Leigh pursued their undergraduate and law education from 1973 to 1981 at The University of British Columbia. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). The field of study for both degrees was not specified.
