Raymond Chan has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and healthcare sectors. From 2019 to present, they have been a Co-PI, Co-Founder, CTO, and COO at Nightingale Labs. From 2018 to 2020, they served as Founding Partner at Althea Group, where they worked in technical and strategic roles in portfolio companies such as RxTransparent. From 2013 to 2018, they were an Advisor and Chief Data Scientist/VP R&D at Rock My World, Inc., where they were involved in launching JOLT.ai, a popular AI fitness chatbot. From 2005 to 2013, they held various roles at Philips, including Principal Member Research Staff, Director of Clinical Research Board, and Senior Member Research Staff. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Co-Program Leader and Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program. Lastly, from 2001 to 2005, they were an Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Raymond Chan has an extensive educational background. Raymond obtained a SB in BME/EE from The Johns Hopkins University in 1992, an SM in EECS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996, and a PhD in HST MEMP from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001. Prior to that, they attended UWCSEA, Singapore from 1984 to 1987. In 2021, they obtained a Human Subjects Research - Biomedical Basic certification from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY.
