Bjørnar Røys

Bjørnar Røys has extensive experience in system engineering and operations within the telecommunications and oil industries. Currently, at Altibox since August 2016, Bjørnar Røys serves as Vaktlagsleder for System og TV, overseeing incident management and system operations, while previously holding the position of Senior System Engineer focused on IPTV systems. Prior roles include Konstituert Team Leader for TV Operations at National Oilwell Varco, Instrument Engineer specializing in electrical and instrument design, and Telecom Engineer for Semco Maritime, where involvement in significant upgrades for ConocoPhilips and Aker Solution AS occurred. Bjørnar Røys began a career at ULSTEIN, gaining experience in planning and service coordination. An educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Ålesund University College, completed in 2006.
