Gjermund Brabrand

Gjermund Brabrand has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the technology and media industry. Gjermund is currently the Head of TV Services at Altibox, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Metadata Architect at Altibox from August 2020 to May 2022. Before joining Altibox, Gjermund worked as a Senior Consultant from June 2017 to August 2020.

In addition to their work at Altibox, Gjermund has had freelance experience as a Photographer since August 2013.

Gjermund also has extensive experience at Sixty AS, where they held several roles. Gjermund was a Product Manager and Partner from February 2018 to August 2020, where they were responsible for the company's TV solution product and contributed to product development and strategy. Gjermund also worked as a Technical Project Manager and Partner from March 2014 to January 2018, and as a Senior Interactive Developer and Partner from January 2013 to March 2014.

Before Sixty AS, Gjermund worked as a Senior System Developer and Partner at Kamikaze Media from August 2008 to January 2013. Gjermund also held the role of System Developer and Designer at Draape from November 2006 to January 2009.

Gjermund Brabrand started their education journey in 2003 at Oslo and Akershus University College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, with a focus on Informatikk. Gjermund successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2006. Building upon their foundational knowledge, Gjermund then pursued a Master of Science degree at Gjøvik University College (HiG) from 2006 to 2008. Gjermund'sfield of study during this time was Media Technology.
