Ian Ryu

Ian Ryu is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as CTO and President at Alticast since January 2009, Ian has previously held significant positions including President and CEO of Sola Mobile Inc and President of Entragrativ Asia Inc. Ian co-founded JOINS.COM, where the role of CEO was fulfilled, and served as Head of New Media at Joongang Ilbo. Earlier in the career, Ian held senior management positions at Microsoft Korea and Samsung Electronics, starting as a Senior Engineer at Dacom. Ian Ryu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Hanyang University, respectively.
