Jorge Sousa

Jorge Sousa has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and telecommunications industry. Starting in 2004 at Altran Europe as a Consultant, they then gained expertise in development and team leadership as a Development Team Leader at Altice Labs from 2005 to 2012. During this time, they focused on the design and handling of IP data sessions for GPRS, 3G, WiFi, and WiMax networks. From 2012 to 2015, Jorge served as Division Manager, taking charge of SmartCity projects. Jorge then moved on to lead M2M/IoT and API management and virtual assistant projects at Altice Labs from 2015 to 2018. In their most recent position, starting in February 2018, they served as the Head of Unified Communications, Virtual Assistants, and M2M/IoT Managed Connectivity at Altice Labs.

Jorge Sousa pursued their education at the Universidade do Porto - Faculdade de Engenharia do Porto, where they completed their Degree in Automation - System Information from 1996 to 2001. Continuing their studies, they obtained a Postgraduate degree in Networks and Communications Services from the same institution between 2004 and 2007. Later on, they further enhanced their knowledge by completing their Master's degree in Economy and Innovation Management at the Universidade do Porto - Faculdade de Economia do Porto from 2010 to 2012.
