Nirav Salot

Nirav Salot has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 with a software engineer role at 3i Infotech. Nirav then joined Infineon Technologies in 2004 as a Senior Software engineer. In 2006, they began working at Cisco Systems, where they held various positions, including Software Engineer, Technical Leader (Product architect and Protocol Expert), and Technical Leader (System & Solution architect; Mobility CTO). During their time at Cisco Systems, they worked on the design, development, and debugging of UMTS/EPC core network products and was involved in pushing product, solution, and business strategies in 3GPP SA2 working group.

In 2016, Salot joined Altiostar, a Rakuten Symphony Company, where they initially served as a Senior Manager for Standards & PLM. Nirav eventually moved up to the position of Director of Product Management and currently holds the role of VP of SW Product Management.

Throughout their career, Salot has demonstrated expertise in mobile network standardization, system architecture, and protocol development.

Nirav Salot started their education in 1993 at Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic, where they pursued a Diploma in Electronics. Nirav completed this program in 1997. From 1996 to 2000, they attended the University of Mumbai, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they pursued a Master of Technology degree in IT.
