Lauren Boone

Lauren Boone has four years of work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Grading Assistant and Peer Tutor at Geneva College. In 2021, they became a Team Member at Follett Higher Education, where they were responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order of merchandise, fulfilling online and in-person retail orders of textbooks and clothing, and performing administrative tasks such as online fulfillment of orders and book buybacks. In 2021, they also became a Research Intern at Duke University Health System, where they learned lab techniques including polymerase chain reaction (PCR) genotyping and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) genotyping, and observed and assisted with flow cytometry. In 2022, they became a Research Technician at Altis Biosystems.

Lauren Boone attended Alamance Community College from 2017 to 2019, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in University Transfer. Lauren then attended Geneva College from 2019 to 2022, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
