Prior to this, Gurucharan held positions at Ocwen Financial Corp, progressing from IT SOX Analyst to Manager. Gurucharan began a professional career as a Manager at Anantharaman & Co. Chartered Accountants and completed an apprenticeship at K.S.Aiyar & Co. Chartered Accountants. Educational qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant and holding a CISA certification, although the latter is currently not active.
