Lakshmi Vishwanathan has a diverse work experience in compliance and regulatory affairs, primarily in the mortgage field services industry.
From 2010 to 2020, Lakshmi worked at Altisource, starting as a Team Leader in the Call Centre for Mortgage Field Services. Lakshmi managed a team of 15, handling inbound and outbound calls for US consumers related to property preservation for mortgage services. Lakshmi then progressed to Assistant Manager of Compliance, overseeing compliance responsibilities. Lakshmi later became a Compliance Manager, responsible for compliance across locations in India and the Philippines, managing five supervisors and 13 analysts. Finally, Lakshmi became the Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, where they were in charge of the global compliance functions for Mortgage Field Services, including oversight, regulatory and federal complaints, and implementing regulations and laws.
Prior to their time at Altisource, Lakshmi worked at Accenture from 2006 to 2010. Lakshmi started as a Team Leader in the Call Centre and Training division for US-based internet service, handling inbound calls for AT&T customers. In 2008, they were promoted to Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing a team of 20.
Lakshmi Vishwanathan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Annamalai University, Annamalainagar.
