Ruchi Goel

Ruchi Goel has over 27 years of work experience in the field of software engineering. Ruchi is currently a Principal Engineer at Altisource, where they have been working since 2014. At Altisource, Ruchi has gained extensive experience in designing, developing, building, integrating, debugging, and deploying RealUnderwriting (RUW) decision-making systems. Ruchi has utilized various technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Data, Spring Security, JPA, MySQL 5.x, Apache, Red Hat Linux, Activiti, Drools, Cassandra, Spark, MongoDB, AOP, and JDK1.

Prior to their current position, Ruchi worked at Yahoo! from 2009 to 2012 as a Principal Engineer. During their time at Yahoo!, they were part of the Yahoo Calendar team and contributed to the design and development of a REST WS framework based on zimbra. Their responsibilities also included migrating classic calendar users to the new Minty release using PHP and Java.

Before joining Yahoo!, Ruchi worked as an Independent Contributor from 2007 to 2009.

From 2003 to 2007, they were a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sun Microsystems. In this role, they worked as an individual contributor in the Sun Portal Server Engineering Team, designing and developing product features related to content management, portlet deployment, administration utilities, and desktop infrastructure.

Ruchi's work experience also includes a role as a Senior Developer at Telcordia Technologies, New Jersey from 1999 to 2000, and a Senior Software Engineer at Tata Infotech from 1995 to 1998. Ruchi began their career as a Software Engineer at Newgen Software Technologies Limited in 1993.
