John Brecker

John Brecker is a seasoned professional in the fields of investment management and corporate restructuring, currently serving as a Partner at Altitude Investment Management since May 2017 and as a Founding Partner at Drivetrain, LLC since April 2013. Brecker has extensive board experience, dating back to 1999, including a current appointment with Morgans Hotel Group, Inc. Additionally, Brecker co-founded Longacre Fund Management, a distressed debt investing firm, and held prominent roles at The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. and various law firms focused on bankruptcy. Brecker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from American University and a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law.
