Tekla McCabe

Tekla McCabe, LCSW has had a variety of work experiences in the field of social work. Tekla started their career as an intern at the Indiana Department of Child Services in 2016, where they assisted with case management and attended court hearings. In 2017, they interned at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, where they were involved in organizing needle and Naloxone kits and providing education on needle safety. In the same year, they worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist at Total Spectrum, LLC, providing one-on-one behavioral therapy. In 2018, they interned as a Therapist at Valley Behavioral Health, and also interned at the Department of Corrections in Wisconsin, conducting interviews, performing assessments, and organizing release plans for offenders. Tekla continued their work at Valley Behavioral Health as a Therapist in 2019, before transitioning to Turning Point Centers as a Clinical Therapist. In 2021, they joined Henderson Behavioral Health as a Clinician for a short period before moving on to Marriage & Family Services, Inc. where they became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Tekla also took on the additional role of Chief Officer of Quality Assurance at the same organization. Tekla'smost recent position is as the Director of Clinical Operations at Altium Health.

Tekla McCabe, LCSW received their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Carthage College in 2018. Tekla then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah, completing their education in 2019.
