Joao Beck

Joao Beck, CID has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joao began their career as a Project Developing Intern at Perto S.A. in 2008. In 2011, they worked as a Research Intern at PUCRS - Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, specializing in the Microprocessors Lab.

In 2012, Joao joined CIM-TEAM Latin America as a Technical Sales Consultant. After a year, they moved to SKA Automação de Engenharias Ltda. where they worked as a Field Application Engineer for three years.

In 2016, Joao joined Altium® as a Field Application Engineer and continued to grow within the company. Joao was promoted to Senior Field Application Engineer in 2019 and became the Director of Enterprise Tech Marketing in January 2022.

Throughout their career, Joao demonstrated expertise in technical sales and research, as well as a strong ability to effectively communicate and provide support in the field of engineering and technology.

Joao Beck, CID has a diverse education history. Joao completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Control and Automation Engineering at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from 2008 to 2013. In 2016, they attended the Sydney College of Business and IT, where they obtained a Diploma of Software Development with a specialization in Embedded Systems Programming the following year. Prior to that, in 2015 and 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Engineering in Industrial Engineering at Unisinos. In 2006, they attended Lloyds College for Information Technology, and in 2005, they obtained a Business Certificate in Business and Marketing from the Australian Pacific College. Joao began their educational journey with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, Marketing at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Joao has earned various certifications such as Demo2Win!, Certified Interconnect Designer (CID), JBarrows On-Site Sales Training, SolidWorks Associate - Mechanical Design, and multiple certifications in Altium Designer.
