Philippe de Jong is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property law with a focus on plant varieties, patents, and regulatory agri-food law. Currently serving as a Partner at ALTIUS since November 2003, Philippe de Jong also acts as an independent arbitrator at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center and is recognized on the WIPO List of Neutrals. Previous experience includes a role as a research consultant at the Community Plant Variety Rights Office and a junior associate position at CMS. Philippe de Jong holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from UCL, has completed an Erasmus Exchange Project focused on International and Intellectual Property Law at the University of Lausanne, and possesses a Lic. Juris from the University of Antwerp. Educational foundations were laid at OLVC, where studies included a Greek-Latin curriculum.
