Ian McKay

Ian McKay is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Controller - Financial Reporting at Altius Minerals Corporation since July 2021, after holding the role of Financial Reporting & Compliance Specialist. Prior experience includes working as a Corporate Accountant at Fortis Inc. from August 2016 to July 2021 and as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte Canada from September 2011 to July 2016. Ian began a career in the finance sector as a Student at Suncor Energy from January 2009 to August 2010. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Honours in Accounting from Memorial University, where studies were completed between 2006 and 2011, and attended the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy from 2011 to 2012, as well as the Prague University of Economics and Business in 2010.
