Zhou Hong

Zhou Hong has a long history of work experience in the industrial engineering and manufacturing space. In 1974, they began their career as a technician in the Wenzhou Mould Company, where they were responsible for making moulds and developing pneumatic logic components and systems. In 1988, they became the team leader of the Pneumatic Research Group at Zhejiang University. In 1989, they joined Festo, where they held the role of Head of Asia and Pacific Technical Centre and Senior Engineer and Technical Manager of Asia & Pacific Region. In 2009, they were appointed General Manager of Festo Production Ltd. and Festo (China) Production Ltd. In 2015, they became the Global Supply Chain Management Strategy Vice President at Festo AG & Co. KG. In 2020, they took on the role of Partner at Altix Consulting and Unternehmensinhaber at ZHQ Consulting Ltd.

Zhou Hong obtained a Ph.D. degree in Fluid Power Transmission and Control from Zhejiang University between 1985 and 1988. Prior to that, they had obtained a Master's degree in the same field from Zhejiang University between 1979 and 1985.
