Altman Strategies was founded in 2014 by Claire Haaga Altman to provide strategic consulting services to organizations committed to developing affordable housing, impactful community development projects, and services to populations in need. Claire brings to this work over forty years of experience working in the fields of affordable housing, employment of disadvantaged populations, services to seniors and alternately abled individuals, building community based service organizations and not for profit and MWBE organizations. Claire has worked primarily in New York City, but also in Dade and Broward Counties, Florida. Claire earned a Masters’ degree in public administration from the NYU Wagner School and a JD from Fordham School of Law.Altman Strategies is a collaborative organization that works with a range of professionals – lawyers, architects, contractors, owners’ representatives, planners, financial analysts – coordinating all of the work required on a project. This approach provides the company's clients with teams suited to the particular needs of a project with the overall project management provided by Claire Altman.
