Jim Quismorio

Jim Quismorio is the principal and CEO of Alto Partners. Jim began his career in 1994 as an M&A banker on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, rising to Managing Director in 2006 in charge of corporate M&A and strategy in the Asia Executive Office. Jim was part of the senior Management Committee which closed the historic sale of Lehman Brothers’ international businesses to Nomura in 2008. He retired from the industry in 2012 and established the Alto Partners family office with several senior executives from TPG, KKR and Northstar.

Jim graduated double Magna Cum Laude with a BS from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He also studied economics at Waseda in Japan and is proficient in written and spoken Japanese. He currently sits on the advisory board for several Asia-based start-ups.
