Ridwan Oyebamiji is a dedicated medical scribe currently employed at Harbor Healthcare System since July 2024, with prior experience at BJC HealthCare. Ridwan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where involvement as a Supplemental Instruction Team Leader and Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Assistant included conducting experiments and data analysis for a project on nucleoside pseudouridine. Previous roles also encompass facilitating group study sessions for biology and chemistry courses and serving as a Desk Manager responsible for security and customer service. Additional experience includes participation as an ASSURE Fellow at Washington University School of Medicine and engagement in a summer health professions education program at UTHealth, aimed at increasing access for underrepresented students in health fields. Ridwan also served as a Quran Teacher at Darul Quran Foundation, focusing on teaching recitation and teachings of Islam.
