Bryan Hendry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy analysis and communications within Indigenous governance and media. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Alto since October 2024, previous roles include Communications Specialist at Mishki Ki Lodge from May 2023 to February 2025, and Senior Policy Analyst at the Assembly of First Nations from September 2002 to February 2025, where Bryan co-chaired the national Standing Committee on Mining Essentials and facilitated various economic and human resource development initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Advisor/Chief of Staff at The Chiefs of Ontario, Acting Director for First Nations, and roles in media as Assignment Editor for NewRo television. Bryan began a career in journalism with a background in legislative assistance and holds an Honours Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University.
