Yao Y.

Yao Y. has a diverse work experience in the fashion and technology industry. In 2017, Yao Y. worked as a Course Leader for Fashion Design at Yesheng International Art Education Technology, where they facilitated training sessions for digital pattern-making software. They then moved on to Infimind in 2019, where they served as an AI-Fashion engineer and led a team responsible for developing a fashion data system upgrade. Yao Y. later joined the Fashion Innovation Agency at London College of Fashion in 2021 as a Digital garment designer, where they independently designed a collection of digital outfits. In 2022, Yao Y. co-founded altr, a digital fashion platform focused on cultural heritage and archival fashion, where they currently serve as Co-Founder & Creative Lead. Additionally, Yao Y. has experience as a Digital Fashion CLO 3D Lecturer at Istituto Marangoni and a Digital Fashion Associate Lecturer at London College of Fashion, where they designed and delivered workshops and contributed to course development.

Yao Y. pursued a Master's degree in Innovative Fashion Production from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, during the same period, Yao Y. also pursued a Master's degree in Innovative Fashion Production from the University of the Arts London. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2018, Yao Y. completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology.
