Brian Beckstead

Brian Beckstead has extensive experience in the running and outdoor recreation industries, currently serving as President at Altra Running since July 2009, where responsibilities include Strategy and PR. As a co-founder and former VP of Sales at Altra Running, significant contributions have been made to the company's growth. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at Utah Valley University, teaching Outdoor Recreation courses, and General Manager at Canyon Sports. Brian also held managerial and sales positions at Runner's Corner, starting as a Shoe Salesperson and progressing to Store Manager and Buyer. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Outdoor Recreation from Utah Valley University, completed in 2008.
