Melody Lai, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melody is currently working as a Sales Engineer at ALTRES since March 2021. Previously, Melody worked as a Bank Teller at Central Pacific Bank from August 2019 to March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Credentialing Specialist I at HMSA from August 2016 to December 2018. Melody also gained experience as an Escrow Processor at Title Guaranty from March 2016 to June 2016. Before entering the corporate world, they worked as an Employment Services Assistant and Peer Trainer at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from February 2014 to December 2015. Melody began their career in the retail sector, working as a Stylist at Ann Taylor from April 2013 to August 2013, and as a Sales Associate at Macy's from May 2011 to March 2013. Melody also gained some early internship experience as a Summer Trustee Clerk Intern at Bank of Hawaii in June and July 2010.

Melody Lai, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Business at LSU Shreveport from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. During their undergraduate years, Melody also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge in Asian Studies through a short-term program at Soonchunhyang University in 2013. In 2011, they briefly attended Hawaii Pacific University, focusing on Communication, General. Melody's educational journey began at McKinley High School, which they attended from 2007 to 2011.
