Gary W.

Gary W. has an extensive background in security leadership, currently serving as the Chief Security Officer (Physical) at Altria since July 2022, where responsibilities include modernizing physical security and access control, product protection, and risk mitigation. Prior to Altria, Gary held significant roles such as Head of Corporate Security at Zillow Group, Senior Director/Global Head of Security at Celgene, and Director of Security at Bayer, where each position involved the establishment of security strategies and programs addressing various aspects of corporate safety, crisis management, and executive protection. From October 2009 to May 2017, Gary served as Senior Director of Global Security at Procter & Gamble, overseeing programs related to insider risk and geopolitical analysis. Gary's career in security began in the U.S. Department of State, where Gary worked as a Supervisory Special Agent from September 2001 to October 2009. Academically, Gary holds a BA in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Washington and attended Kettering University.
