Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as Device Engineering Lead at Altria since November 2022, Jeremy previously held leadership roles at Werfen North America, including R&D Mechanical Engineering Group Leader, where critical contributions were made to the development of point-of-care blood gas instruments. With a strong technical background, Jeremy designed innovative testing fixtures for blood diagnostic sensors at Werfen and provided engineering support for medical implant manufacturing processes at Morgan Advanced Materials. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Tufts University, a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
