John Mason

John Mason is an experienced professional in federal government affairs and board leadership roles, currently serving as a Board Member for the Public Affairs Council, Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and The Congressional Award, among others. Since January 2019, John has been with Altria, progressing from Sr. Manager of Political Programs to Sr. Director of Federal Government Affairs. Additionally, John holds a position as Chair of the Corporate Advisory Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and contributes to the National Association of Business Political Action Committees as a Board Member. John previously co-chaired the Leadership Council at Miriam's Kitchen until October 2023. John is a graduate of The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies.
