David Hutchison

David Hutchison has extensive experience in the energy and commodities trading industry. David is currently working as the VP Commodities at ERA since June 2022. Previously, they worked at Gazprom Marketing and Trading for over 14 years, starting in 2008. During their tenure, they held various roles including Senior Gas Trader, where they led the gas storage trading team and later became the Algo/Automation lead for the gas desk. David also served as a member of the Digital Trading team. Before joining Gazprom, David worked as a Senior Trading Analyst at ENI UK from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they worked as an Energy Asset Optimisation Analyst at EDF Energy in 2005. David started their career as an Operations Controller at GMSL in 2002 and had a two-month posting as a Stagiaire at Fluxys in 2003.

David Hutchison attended Imperial College London from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained an MEng degree. In 2001, they also briefly attended ISAE-SUPAERO, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time.
