Spencer Keefer

Spencer Keefer is a software engineer at Altron, Inc. since July 2023, with prior experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia. Spencer supported students in Engineering Interactive Technologies and has expertise in Human-Computer Interaction and Embedded Systems. Previous roles include a Software Development Intern at D4t4 Solutions Plc, where a ransomware detection tool was developed with notable accuracy, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech's Synergy Lab, contributing to K-12 educational tools. Additional experience includes teaching assistance in various computer science courses and involvement in a student-led team for the EcoCar Mobility Challenge. Spencer holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, following a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
